Jigu is a travel companion for people who are already out there. Point the map at where you are — or where you'll be tomorrow — and ask in plain words: "cheap local curry near here", "somewhere quiet to work", "a hostel I can walk to tonight". You get back a short list you can act on, on the map, with the walk from your anchor. GROUNDED IN REAL PLACES Every suggestion comes from live Google Places data: the current rating, how many people have reviewed it, and their reviews in their own words. If nothing nearby fits, Jigu tells you that instead of inventing somewhere. Tap any place to read the reviews it was chosen from and open it in Google Maps. BUILT AROUND THE MAP The map is the app, not a tab inside it. Drag it to set your anchor — the corner you're standing on, or the neighbourhood you're moving to on Friday. Eat, Cafes, Sights, and Stay drop pins you can compare at a glance. NO ACCOUNT NEEDED Open it and start. There's no sign-up wall, no profile to build, no feed. Signing in with Apple is optional and does exactly one thing: keeps your saved places when you change phone. You can delete your account, and everything saved with it, from inside the app. ABOUT LOCATION Jigu asks for your location so it can show what's genuinely within walking distance. It's used only while the app is open, never tracked in the background, and never stored on our servers. Prefer not to share it? Drag the map instead — everything works the same. Jigu needs a connection to fetch places and answers.
