Store description excerpt
Jigsaw Den keeps one promise above all: you will never see an ad during a puzzle. The only ad format is a full-screen one, shown when you leave a picture you have already finished. Never mid-solve, and never between the last piece and the picture becoming whole — the completion moment is yours. There are no banner ads, and there will not be. And your first three finished puzzles have no ads at all. THE PICTURES The library holds 53 pictures. Twenty-one are classic public-domain works: Van Gogh's Sunflowers, Wheat Field with Cypresses and The Starry Night; Hokusai's Under the Wave off Kanagawa; Bruegel's The Harvesters, Netherlandish Proverbs and The Tower of Babel; Seurat's A Sunday on La Grande Jatte and Circus Sideshow; El Greco; Mucha; two Audubon plates; Leonardo's Mona Lisa; Klimt's The Kiss; Rembrandt's The Night Watch; Munch's The Scream; three Hiroshige landscapes; and a rose window. Several come straight from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Open Access collection and carry the museum's own record — title, artist, date, medium, accession number. Finish any of the classics and a short note on the work's history appears with the completed picture. The other 32 pictures are AI-generated scenes made for the app — gardens, villages, markets, mountains, forests, trains, balloons, beaches, cats and dogs. They are marked as generated in the library, and only the real works carry a history note, because a generated scene has no history to tell. YOUR PHOTOS Any photo on your device can become a puzzle, and a daily puzzle is drawn from the photos you add. THE TABLE Pieces are dragged from a tray onto the table. Choose 24, 48, 108 or 192 pieces. ADS AND PRIVACY A single one-time purchase removes ads entirely. Ads are non-personalised. In the EEA and UK, ad consent is gathered through Google's certified consent platform, and if consent cannot be resolved, no ad is requested at all.
