Upjao Mati, an initiative under Jeetega Kisan, a flagship program of DCM Shriram Foundation. The program aims to enhance Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) via in situ composting using manure and farm waste while creating a cadre of lead and demo farmers who introduce best practices in their farming who introduce best practices in their farming along with these activities. DCM Shriram Foundation’s commitment to sustainable agriculture is evident through this program, nurturing lead farmers, entrepreneurs and better soil practices. The initiative not only tackles SOC challenges but also lays the groundwork for a thriving farming community. The project is implemented in the selected geographies of Hardoi and Lakhimpur Kheri districts of Uttar Pradesh.
