ポケベル検定は、1990年代の日本で親しまれた「数字で気持ちを伝える」文化をクイズとして体験するMacゲームです。 画面に表示される数字コードを見て、4つの選択肢から意味を選びます。上級入力モードでは、日本語の意味を見て数字コードを自分で入力できます。正解するとスコアが入り、暗号がポケベル図鑑に登録されます。 収録コードには、4649、39、0840、14106、724106などの語呂合わせ、略読型、英語混合型、ベル打ちの例を含めています。 これはメッセンジャーでもSNSでもありません。失われつつある日本のポケベル文化を、短い数字列を読む遊びとして再発見する小さなクイズゲームです。
