台中市是全國牙醫師密度最高的都市，診所並不容易經營， 但人文氣候條件不錯，很多人喜歡挑台中市做為居住開業的地點。 臺中市牙醫師公會有五十多年歷史，比其他縣市算是很進步的團體， 觀念思想之先趨在全國亦屬一屬二，照顧新開業的學弟學妹亦不遺餘 力，諸如打破公勞保之特權，健保審查醫師之資歷限制等，都是由台 中市來主導，所有會員不分校際，十分和諧，也令其他大公會十分羡 慕;而台中市出身之牙醫界人士在政界，在全聯會上也扮演舉足輕重 角色，這便是台中市牙醫師公會的特色。
