石峁（mǎo）遗址，是中国已发现的夏早期规模最大的城址，距今约4000年左右。石峁遗址是探寻中华文明起源的窗口，可能是夏早期中国北方的中心。有可能是黄帝的都城昆仑城，也许是夏代的都城遗址“夏都” 。 《石峁王国》是一款以陕西神木石峁古城遗址为故事原型创作的历史场景代入应用。我们整体还原了石峁遗址的全貌，包括皇城台、城门、民房等。玩家需要布局各种生产、军事、民生、宗教等设施，调配资源管理生产，让石峁古国正常有序的运作。在人口稳定、物资丰足后，玩家可以利用人口和物资组建军队征服其他方国或者修建大型的宫殿、陵墓等。 石峁古城虽在四千多年前，但作物品种很多，有谷子、酸枣、梅子、油菜、蔬菜、蔬果等。还有纤维作物苎麻，驯养的肉类动物，还有池盐等等。
