中医食品学（食療学）とは、古代よりの医食同源の考えを中医薬学理論により研究された、中医学の一部門である。 西周時代には皇帝の健康や病気の予防のため、飲食栄養の管理をする食医が設けられた。中医学の基礎である黄帝内経にも飲食による健康維持、病気の予防の記載がある。このように薬食同源または医食同源と言われ、食療学の基礎が古代において築かれたのである。現代社会においても食を通じて健康維持や病気の予防に中医食品学が手助けになることを願います。全151項目。
