The Ministry of Science and ICT establishes and operates a research fund management system that is individually managed by a research institute specializing in connection with the government's national research and development project, and manages the research and development cost execution information of the national research and development project. In order to alleviate the administrative burden at the research site and transparently manage the R&D expenditure, the'Universal Ministry Research Expense Integrated Management System' was established and has been in operation since September 2019. This application is a solution (SAFEOTP) that was introduced to strengthen the security of the governmental research unit integrated management system (integrated Ezbaro), and is a one-time password (OTP) generator for 2-factor authentication. Users who use the integrated Ezbaro must install this application on their smartphone and use it to access the system. The main advantages of this solution are: 1. One-time password for transaction signature in the form of a query/response using a public key password! OTPSEED is generated through digital signature of public key cryptography. Generate a one-time password through ‘random numbers’ that are transmitted from the server every time you connect. Guarantees'integrity' of authentication through the steps of'signature verification' and'extraction comparison', not'simple comparison' of the existing symmetric key method Excellent security compared to the existing time synchronization/event synchronization method (Financial Security Agency security review completed) 2. Available only with biometric authentication (face, fingerprint, etc.) without 6-digit OTP input Generated 6-digit OTP without input to the site -> Enhanced convenience After confirming the contents of the request -> Reconfirm whether or not hacking Check with the biometric information registered in the terminal -> Enhance security
