This is a baseball home run competition game where you compete against a pitching machine. You'll face off against a succession of pitching machines. Initially, they only throw fastballs, but gradually they'll start throwing curveballs and powerful "magic pitches." It's a simple game, but it was extremely popular during the feature phone era, and is recommended regardless of whether you like baseball or not! ●April 2026 Update Information The sequel and spin-off games "Gachinko Magic Pitch Competition" and "Gachinko Pitcher," as well as the previously paid "Gachinko Home Run Tournament" and "Gachinko Home Run Tournament 2," are now playable as separate apps! The playable apps are listed below. Previously, the paid games from the feature phone era required video viewing, but this is no longer necessary. ◆Gachinko Magic Pitch Competition This game lets you compete against incredibly powerful magic pitches (also known as "Magic! Home Run Competition"). In addition to the addition of magic pitches, title changes and new music have also been added. ◆Gachinko Pitcher This game is the opposite of Gachinko Home Run Derby; you play as a pitcher and try to get batters out. The count is kept just like in real baseball. It features ability growth (training elements), titles, and a variety of pitches, making it enjoyable for a long time. ◆Gachinko Home Run Tournament The goal is to beat rival high schools at Koshien Stadium! Besides your own batter, you can also train a pitcher (you don't control the pitching). You can lower their abilities and accumulate experience points. While it doesn't heavily feature magic pitches, it includes many magic pitches not seen in previous Home Run Derby series. In addition to supporting left-handed batting, which was a frequently requested feature, you can now also select switch batting. ◆Gachinko Home Run Tournament 2 A sequel to Gachinko Home Run Tournament, this game combines the pitcher-controlling Home Run Derby series with Gachinko Pitcher. It's a knockout-style tournament where you aim to win the championship. The experience points you earn can be allocated to batters and pitchers as you like, allowing you to develop them in any way you prefer, such as prioritizing batting, pitching, or creating a balanced build. Many new "magic pitches" will also be introduced. Pitchers can also throw magic pitches. In conjunction with the release of the above app, we've slightly increased the amount of experience points you receive, including in the "Gachinko Home Run Derby." We've also made some minor parameter adjustments to slightly increase the distance of hits when pulling the ball.
