Store description excerpt
"Isshin" is a Japanese-style gamified cognitive training app primarily aimed at young drivers, focusing on attention and concentration. It focuses on "the ability to quickly focus attention on necessary information and make judgments without being distracted by unnecessary information," one of the cognitive functions that supports safe driving. Based on the principles of Flanker training, known for evaluating and training attention function, it has been restructured to be easy to engage in even in short periods of time and easy to continue. The setting is a capital city destroyed by Yamata no Orochi. To protect the city, a blacksmith forged a final sword, imbued with the regrets and hopes of the people, and eventually awakened as a tsukumogami (a spirit inhabiting an object). The player takes on the role of this protagonist, defeating demons, rebuilding the city, recovering stolen national treasures, and ultimately aiming to defeat Yamata no Orochi. It's not an overly long, heavy story; the world and objective are clear, making it easy to immerse yourself in even short periods of time and easy to incorporate into daily routines. The defining feature of "Isshin" is that it transforms cognitive training into a "game experience you'll want to continue playing." Each play session lasts as little as one minute. You can easily fit it into your spare time – before school, during breaks, or after returning home. Because it's not designed for long play sessions, it's easy to continue even on busy days, making it easy to build up small progress into a daily habit. In the game, you can rebuild your city using resources and money obtained by defeating enemies. The results of your training are visibly reflected in the reconstruction of your city, giving you a sense of accomplishment and seeing your efforts pay off. Furthermore, there's a collection element where you can gather actual national treasure swords and other artifacts, allowing you to enjoy the fun and sense of achievement beyond simply improving your records. You can also track your progress, reviewing your accumulated attention and concentration. By visualizing how much you've worked and how you've changed compared to yesterday or last week, you can easily feel a sense of growth. We've deliberately avoided competitive rankings and mandatory daily missions. Instead of comparing yourself to others, we emphasize continuing at your own pace and feeling your own progress. The difficulty level is divided into three stages: "Easy," suitable for elementary school students; "Normal," enjoyable for a standard level of experience; and "Hard," for advanced users. It's easy to start even for those unfamiliar with cognitive training, and those who want to test their abilities can challenge themselves with higher difficulty levels. Because you can choose a level that suits you, it's designed to be easy to start and continue using. "Isshin" is a completely free app. It's recommended for those who want
