With MidoriColle, you can walk through Takashimadaira Green Space, discover seasonal flowers and trees, and collect them on your smartphone. From the soft greenery of spring, the vibrant flowers of summer, the colorful leaves of autumn, to the quiet groves of trees in winter—let's capture the charm of this green space, which shows a different face each time you visit, with your photos. Takashimadaira Green Space is a green belt of approximately 2.5 km that runs along Tokyo Metropolitan Road 447 (Takashima-dori) and the Toei Mita Line (roughly from Nishi-Takashimadaira Station to Nishidai Station). Although it is an artificially maintained buffer green space, it is a place of relaxation for local residents where they can enjoy plants of all seasons. (This app does not cover the entire green space. Please check the map in the app for detailed coverage.) How to enjoy MidoriColle It includes a mini-encyclopedia of 80 types of plants. When you find something during your walk, take a picture with your smartphone and add your photo to the encyclopedia! Visit many times and gradually fill the encyclopedia with your own photos. Whether you enjoy it at a leisurely pace or aim for completion, the way you enjoy it is up to you. If there's a plant you can't seem to find, asking someone you meet in the green space is a great way to enjoy it. Asking our knowledgeable staff is also recommended.
