The offline Bible reading application in ancient and modern Greek "Bible" includes the 76 books of the Old and New Testaments, according to the Orthodox Church. The purpose of the application is to make reading the Bible more accessible to all Greek-speaking people. It is recommended to read the original text in ancient Greek, while where there is difficulty, an easy verse-by-verse translation is provided. The ancient texts of the Old Testament include the 39 canonical and 10 deuterocanonical books of the Septuagint (LXX). The 27 books of the New Testament are listed in the original texts. All ancient texts follow the Sinaitic, Alexandrine and Vatican Codex. The new texts are a community translation effort. Their reliability and accuracy are not guaranteed. In case of errors or omissions, please submit correction suggestions to the public roadmap: https://github.com/bibleappgr-arch/roadmap. The application is not, and will never be, for-profit. Its sole purpose is to disseminate the Bible to Greek-speaking people. Therefore, the application does not collect any personal data and operates offline. The application has not been approved or supported and is not affiliated with any Christian denomination or religious organization in Greece or abroad.
