Store description excerpt

"Ppeong" is a traditional card game played with 48 Hwatu cards. Depending on the region, it is also called "Nylon Ppeong." Unlike Go-Stop, you do not collect "Gwang" or "Pyeo." The goal is to reduce the number of cards in your hand, and the lower your score, the more likely you are to win. The game is played twelve rounds from January to December, with the winner determined by the cumulative score. ▣ The Fun of Reading the Board When you hold two cards of the same month, if an opponent discards that month, the path splits into two. • Ppeong — Match three cards and empty them from your hand. Your hand becomes lighter. • Bagaji — Penalize the person who discarded them. Punish the opponent's mistake. The key to this game is holding a pair and deciding when to empty them or when to wait to impose a penalty. If six cards form a special pattern, you establish a winning hand based on the "jokbo" (traditional hand ranking) and win big. There are combinations such as "Ttoittoi" (collecting three pairs of two cards of the same month), "Straight" (collecting six consecutive months), and "4+2" (combining four cards of the same month with two cards of a different month). If you are left with only two cards after "Bong" (bluffing) and the sum is low, you can call "Stop" to end the hand. However, if someone holds a better hand, you will be charged a "Stop-Ban" and take on a large penalty. ▣ Playing Alone — No Internet Connection Required The rules, AI, card images, and voice are all included within the app. You can use it even in places with no connection, such as subways or airplanes. There is no registration or login required, so you can install it and start immediately. ▣ Online Match — 3 to 6 Players • Create a Room — Simply share the room code with a friend • Find a Public Room — Enter any room from the list • The computer fills empty slots If you visit a public room where a round is in progress, the players currently playing will vote to accept you. If accepted, you will start over from the beginning and play together. You can leave it on auto mode while you are away. Only your own field of view is transmitted to each player. Other players' hands are not transmitted at all. ▣ Adhere to House Rules Rules for "Bong" vary by house and region. When creating a room, you can choose from the following: • Number of rounds — 3 rounds / 6 rounds / 12 rounds • Stop conditions — Sum of two cards equal to or less than the number of players / 5 or less / 10 or less • Stop score — (Sum - 10) / Sum as is • Overcharge penalty — 30 points / 20 points • Stop overcharge penalty — 50 points / 30 points • High sum standard — Sum of six cards must be 63 or more / 66 or more • To stop, you must have had another player "Bong" first. ▣ Points We Have Considered • Voice — Calls out the moon when playing a card. You can also choose a method of referring to 10, 11, and 12 as Jang, Ddong, and Bi. • One-handed operation — Designed for portrait mode, allowing
