There's a folk saying: Dotting the eyes of a paper figurine will grant it intelligence and the ability to see. If a paper figurine becomes a human, how can you tell? Legend has it that there was a theater whose kind-hearted owner took in many orphaned children and raised them. As the children grew up and left home, the owner would take in new children, and this cycle would repeat itself several times. But as time passed, the children's faces changed, while the owner's ageing remains frozen. People say this symbolizes the longevity of a kind person. It wasn't until the girl, who was sent away due to hysteria, was found through her memories that a centuries-old conspiracy surfaced. "Paper Festival" is a folk horror puzzle game told from the heroine's perspective. When fantasy and reality merge, can you, with your own eyes, cut through the fog and uncover the truth? Humans have emotions, but what about inanimate objects? Does long-term interaction imbue them with a "human component"? These are questions you'll need to explore step by step as the game unfolds.
