About the association 1- The Charitable Association for the Memorization of the Noble Qur’an in Asir is an extension of those Qur’anic circles and Sharia studies that were held by His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah bin Yusef Al-Wabel - may God have mercy on him - in the Manazhir Mosque and the House of Sharia Sciences in Abha. 2- The foundations of charitable associations for the memorization of the Noble Qur’an in Makkah Al-Mukarramah Sheikh Muhammad Yusuf Seti - may God have mercy on him - when he cooperated with an elite group of preachers and reformers in the Sacred Land of God In their introduction: (His Excellency Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh Qazzaz. Dr. Mustafa Ghulam. Sheikh Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani. Sheikh Muhammad Sorour Saban - may God have mercy on them all - and that was in the year 1385 AH. 3- The activity of the Charitable Society for the Memorization of the Noble Qur’an extended in Makkah Al-Mukarramah until it included most of the cities of the Kingdom, including the city of Abha, where the Charitable Society for the Memorization of the Noble Qur’an was established in Abha in 1390 AH. It started with one teacher, Sheikh Muhammad Yar Kindi, then Sheikh Ubaid Allah bin Ataa Al-Afghani, whom King Khalid - may God have mercy on him - granted Saudi citizenship for his commendable efforts in teaching and memorizing the Holy Qur’an to the people of the region. 4- This goodness and light spread to most parts of the southern region until it reached Najran And Sharurah and Dhahran in the south to the south, and Sabt Al-Alayah to the north, and to Al-Amwah in the east, and Shamran and the southern and northern crossings up to the borders of the region of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. 5- In the year 1403 AH, the association became affiliated to the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and under its supervision in terms of guidance and methodology with License No. (8). 6- After the establishment of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, the Noble Royal Directive No. (5/7/10737) and the date of 07/10/1414 AH was issued, assigning His Excellency the Minister with many tasks and carrying out many activities, including supervising charitable associations for the memorization of the Holy Qur’an, so the Ministry gave them its attention And she took several steps to develop the associations, and one of the most important things she did was that she called for an expanded meeting that included the heads of charitable associations for the memorization of the Holy Qur’an on 01/13/1415 AH to study the conditions of these associations and how to advance and develop them and support them in various ways so that they can carry out their mission and perform their sublime mission. 7- This meeting issued several strategic decisions, the most important of which are: • Unifying charitable associations for the memorization of the Holy Quran in thirteen major associations according to the distribution of the regions of the Kingdom. • The main association in
