As for what follows: Allah has bestowed His noble Book upon us and has pledged to protect it from deviation and distortion. He has bound among His servants those whom He has granted the ability to memorize it in their hearts, and among them are those who pay attention to its letters, and among them are those who are occupied with interpreting it, and among them are those who spend their lives And he spent it in editing and attributing, and among them was he who bound it to write his book, so he attained an honor that no one before him had, and we are now between these and those; Between memorization, mastery of letters, stopping, starting, editing, and attribution, all of this and more is before you in this blessed encyclopedia, which is concerned with writing the Noble Qur’an according to the ten major and minor readings, and the narrations, both individually and collectively. The encyclopedia was written in the Ottoman script and combined the writings of the past and present. All of this was done to make it easier for the reader of the Qur’an and the teacher of the Qur’an, for they are the people of God and His beloved ones. They should come together and not separate, and they should show their students gentleness and kindness towards them.
