📖 Minhaaj al-Talibin wa'Umdat al-Muftiin fi al-Fiqh by al-Nawawi 📖 By Abu Zakariya Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Hizami al-Nawawi al-Shafi'i, known as al-Nawawi Enjoy reading Minhaaj al-Talibin wa'Umdat al-Muftiin fi al-Fiqh by al-Nawawi with the book app, stories, offline, and many other features. This book is considered by all scholars to be superior to other texts because it contains jurisprudential issues, investigation, and precision, which the successful have facilitated. Therefore, it is the central text. Scholars unanimously agreed on its precedence and precedence, and it spread like a light, and scholars continued to strive to explain and organize it, abridge and refine it, and pay attention to it in all aspects. It is sufficient to note that its commentators alone have exceeded one hundred. This is in fact due to several factors: First: The stature of its author among scholars and his deep knowledge of religious jurisprudence, which was praised by the noble. Second: The integrity and sincerity of its author, and the blessings, asceticism, and piety recorded in biographies. There is no Shafi'i student who did not read it, spend time with it, and discuss it. God clothed him in the garments of acceptance and popularity, and clothed him in the garment of popularity. No student who read it attentively succeeded and rose greatly on the ladder of jurisprudence, to the point where the saying became widespread: "Whoever reads Al-Minhaj... will be agitated." Third: Imam al-Nawawi—the accomplished scholar—abbreviated it from al-Muharrir by Imam al-Rafi'i (may God have mercy on him) and added new issues. Fourth: Imam al-Nawawi followed an engaging, unique, and concise method in composing and presenting the views of the school and its relied upon. He summarized the various sources of disagreement in a few words, and in the sermon of Al-Minhaj, he clarified its terminology, providing the student with jurisprudential knowledge and terminology that he selected with complete ease and clarity. Thus, Al-Minhaj became the essence of Shafi'i jurisprudence and the undisputed essence of the school. Given this book's fame and stature among Shafi'i jurists, it was fitting that it be published in a splendid form befitting its stature. This, in turn, led to its long-term association with the book. Dar al-Minhaj resolved to publish it in a scholarly, verified edition, deriving this verification from the approved manuscripts. After diligent research and a tour of manuscript centers, they found several manuscript copies, including an ancient copy distinguished by its authenticity and precision, as it bore licenses in the handwriting of renowned scholars such as al-Hafiz al-'Iraqi and others. This copy was circulated by memorizers, read by jurists, and commented upon by verifiers. It is therefore worthy of consideration, in addition to comparing it with other copies for memorization.
