This is a business simulation where you place vending machines and expand them throughout the city. You are the vending machine owner. You choose a company name and start operations on January 1st, 2000. You don't work on-site; you drive around in a truck restocking. ■ Time spent sold out directly translates to losses. The more popular a machine is, the faster it empties. People passing by empty machines will leave without buying anything. This number is clearly recorded daily as "missed sales." ■ You can only restock what you've loaded. A light truck can only carry 100 bottles. As the number of machines increases, you won't be able to fill them all before making your rounds. Your daily sales will vary depending on where you go first. Upgrading to a 2-ton or 4-ton truck will increase your carrying capacity, but it will cost money each time you go out. ■ Location changes the characteristics of each machine. In front of a train station: Highest foot traffic. Highest rent. Office district: Strong on weekdays, but dead on weekends. In front of a factory: Weekday afternoons. Thrives in Summer Housing Complex: Not flashy, but consistent even on weekends Park: Depends on the weather. Takes off on sunny holidays Increasing stock in the same location will cause competition for customers, so you need to decide whether to spread them out or concentrate them. ■ Weather and Temperature Directly Influence The setting is Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture. Based on actual average values, we've prepared a year's worth of weather and temperature data. The rainy season brings continuous rain, summer temperatures exceed 30°C, and winter even brings snow. You can see the forecast up to a week in advance, allowing you to plan your stock accordingly. ■ Cold or Hot Items to Stock When the temperature rises, cold items are in demand; when it falls, hot items are in demand. You can set the ratio for each stand, but this only applies to the next replenishment. If the switch is delayed, one type of stock will remain dead while the other runs out first. ■ You Set Your Own Prices From 50 yen to 300 yen per bottle. Raising the price will decrease the number of items sold, but it will increase the profit margin per item. On hot days or days with many people, items will sell even at a slightly higher price. ■ Other Features - Up to 10 vending machines. You can switch between small (50 items), medium (100 items), and large (150 items) machines. - Settlement at the end of the month. Sales, purchases, location fees, and missed sales are summarized. - Business data can be reviewed daily for 60 days, monthly, and yearly. - Machines are occasionally broken.
