This is an app designed for two people who met through an international relationship. It helps you navigate the time spent apart without being able to communicate, until your girlfriend arrives in Korea. You are already a couple, yet you cannot understand each other. One person waits for the country they will soon be visiting, completely unaware of what is happening. Duorang fills that void. ▍ Write in each other's own languages If the boyfriend writes in Korean, it appears on the girlfriend's screen in her own language; if the girlfriend writes in her own language, it appears on the boyfriend's screen in Korean. The original text is displayed alongside the translation. • Send photos, videos, and files; reply; and mark as read. • When you open a chat room, received photos remain on your phone. You do not need to save them separately. • Save conversations as PDF — Select a time period to print both the original text and the translation together. ▍ Real-time translated subtitles during video calls During a 1:1 video call, subtitles appear in the other person's language. If you select 'Voice + Subtitles,' you can also hear the other person's voice in your own language. ▍When you open the app, 'Us' is the first thing you see • Current time and weather in both cities — whether it is safe to make a call • How many days have passed since you met, and how many days are left until you meet in Korea • 'Today Me,' a feature where you record your mood with a single tap • Home screen widget — You can see photos, the time in both cities, and the day count without opening the app ▍Our Story Home, Family, Neighborhood, Travel — These are photo bundles that you create by giving them your own names. You can leave a heart and a short comment on each photo, and the comment is translated into the other person's words and arrives. It is a space for two people who are far apart and unaware of each other's day to get to know one another. ▍AI Mentors for Solitary Time For times when you have no one to ask, there is an AI mentor who has already experienced these things for you. • Yuri — Born in the same country as your girlfriend, she met and married a Korean 5 to 10 years before you did and now lives in Korea. If you press the microphone and ask a question in her own language, she answers in her own language. • Minsu — A Korean who dated and married a foreign girlfriend 5 to 10 years before you did. They speak in Korean. The two do not interfere in the relationship between the lovers. They simply tell you things that are better left to you to ask directly. They are not teachers either—they do not correct mistakes or give you tests. ▍ They remember you They remember what you learned during conversations (hometown, family, likes, current situation) and incorporate it into subsequent conversations.
