Psalms of David — all 150 psalms and all 20 kathismas, for reading and listening, completely offline. The entire text of 2461 verses is in the application itself. The text of the Psalter is from the Old Testament translated by Đuro Daničić. Also, all the references in the application are the same as in it. TWO DIVISIONS The M and S buttons change the numbering: Masoretic (as it is in the Serbian editions) and Greek, according to which the service is conducted and in which Psalm 151 also comes. Everything you have marked remains in its place when you change the division. KATISMAS Read the Psalter by kathismas: kathismas 1–20 are on the ruler above and below the list, and the KAT/PS switch changes the view of all psalms in thirty. Read carries an eight-pointed star — on the psalm when it has been read, on the kathisma when it is complete. SEARCH The number leads to the psalm, the word is searched for throughout the book regardless of the script and diacritics. The Ekavian query finds the Ekavian text: “place” finds “place”, “poem” finds “poem”. LISTENING Listen to the Psalter: psalms with a recording carry a bar below the title — play, pause, rewind by touching. When the entire kathisma is recorded, it flows as one recording through the bottom bar that survives page scrolling. For now: psalms 1–8 (the entire first kathisma), 117 and 133 — recordings are added with new editions. TELEPROMPTER When you turn it on, the text starts flowing on its own across the entire screen, at the speed and font size you choose; the screen does not sleep while it is playing. PSALMS MESSAGES AND READING RECOMMENDATIONS Below the title of the psalm, with a single swipe, the recommendation of Saint Arsenius of Cappadocia and a short message about what the psalm is about alternate, with the note "you can read it when you pray for...". Each of these has its own switch. PARALLEL PLACES The blue references in the text open the verses they lead to, and when they lead to the Psalter, they also offer to open that psalm. The signs and references are hidden with a single switch. MARKER A touch marks the entire verse, and dragging over the text marks word by word — like a real marker. Marked places are saved separately from the text, the "Marked" filter collects them in one place, and deleting has a recall. PRAYER BEFORE READING It is on the cover, with a single touch, so that the reading can begin properly. GLORY After each article there is a Glory, in all sixty places — in Psalm 119 and within the text. It is accompanied by a doxology and a prayer for the living, or for the deceased; you enter the names once and they are in the prayers. The full text can be turned off, the line “GLORY” remains. WEEKLY READING The entire Psalter for seven days: Monday kathisma 1–3, Tuesday 4–6, Wednesday 7–9, Thursday 10–12, Friday 13–16, Saturday 17, Sunday 18–20.
