黄帝内经分灵枢、素问两部分，起源于轩辕黄帝，后又经医家、医学理论家联合增补发展创作，一般认为集结成书于春秋战国时期。在以黄帝、岐伯、雷公对话、问答的形式阐述病机病理的同时，主张不治已病，而治未病，同时主张养生、摄生、益寿、延年。 黄帝内经是中国传统医学四大经典著作之一(黄帝内经、难经、伤寒杂病论、神农本草经)，是我国医学宝库中现存成书最早的一部医学典籍。是研究人的生理学、病理学、诊断学、治疗原则和药物学的医学巨著。在理论上建立了中医学上的阴阳五行学说、脉象学说、藏象学说等。
