This is a beginner-level "quiz" and "tutorial" course on macros (VBA) for Microsoft Excel, a major spreadsheet software that runs on Windows. This course is for Excel versions 365, 2024-97. (Regarding Trademarks) Microsoft Excel is a registered trademark or trademark of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries. VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Visual Basic are registered trademarks or trademarks of Microsoft Corporation in the United States and other countries. ■Scope of Questions and Course Content■ This course is designed for those who are familiar with spreadsheet operations (Excel), such as creating formulas and tables and saving workbooks, but find scripting languages (VBA) difficult to learn. We will provide a systematic explanation. This course is for those who want to thoroughly learn the basics of programming. In the basic section, you will learn the fundamental knowledge and know-how necessary for programming. In the practical section, you will experience actual programming by creating several simple software programs. The final goal is "creating simple software." ■Quiz Questions■ Evaluation is based on the following four levels: 100 points: Excellent. Up to 80 points: Good. Up to 60 points: Needs improvement. Up to 0 points: Needs a little more effort. A certificate will be issued for achieving a perfect score of 100 points in all subjects!! Introduction Learn basic preparations before the course and how to use the Visual Basic Editor. 2. Visual Basic Learn the Visual Basic programming language. 3. Spreadsheet (Excel) Objects Learn how to use spreadsheet (Excel) objects in the scripting language (VBA). 4. Programming Techniques Learn the necessary skills for programming. = Practical Section = Learn practical programming using various case studies based on the basic section. 1. Updating Inventory Sheet An example of using macro recording with an inventory sheet as the subject. 2. Checklist An example of using events with a checklist as the subject. 3. Stopwatch An example of programming with a stopwatch as the subject. 4. SUM Function Mock-up Try the SUM function, a worksheet function. 5. Dialog Box/Value Input Try inputting values using a dialog box. 6. Calculations/Numerical Calculations Try summing and averaging, the basics of calculations. 7. Date-Related/Calendar Try creating a calendar. Through this course, you will be able to acquire basic to practical programming skills at an introductory level.
