In 2020, when it was most difficult to purchase masks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to prove that Chinese (compatriots) living in Korean society can also have a warm influence on this society by donating 1,000 KF-94 masks to Ansan City through fundraising activities with our association members. With the era of 2 million immigrants, Korea is rapidly moving towards an era of hyper-aging. In order to provide even a little help in this reality, the association created the first free meal center for Chinese (compatriots) in the country on April 19, 2023, and provides a warm meal to vulnerable seniors every Saturday, and delivers side dishes to seniors who have difficulty moving. In order to contribute even a little to improving the environment of Wongok-dong, every Sunday, people of all ages, from elementary school students to those in their 70s, clean the multicultural streets. With the consistent belief that at least the path we have taken will change, our association will work even harder to become an indispensable part of Korean society and move forward step by step.
