The more people move away from the guidance of the righteous predecessors, the more many heresies and innovations will enter and spread among the people. This is either due to the ignorance that has become widespread in the nation, or because some heresies are dressed as Sharia law by the preachers of heresies, and they have created innovations in the religion of God, including those related to the Book. God is either in the aspect of worshiping Him, or in the aspect of reciting and performing it, or in the aspect of finding rest in Him, and so on. The book that we have in our hands, the author deals with these innovations, collecting them, explaining their origin, and mentioning their evidence, as well as extending the response to them, mentioning what corresponds to them from what God has legislated, and it contains a wealth of what they invented. The author began his book with an introduction, in which he defined heresy, where he mentioned several definitions taken from scholars, to come out of them with legal controls for heresy, then he defined the innovations, and explained the relationship between it and heresy.
