Store description excerpt

Most ISTQB prep apps ask you to trust them. This one asks you to check. Every explanation ends at an Official reference card. Its title is read off the link it opens, with the address underneath, so the card can never name one document and open another. The syllabus chapter sits outside the card, labelled as this app's own mapping rather than a quotation. If the reasoning is wrong, you can prove it. That is the whole product. WRITTEN, NOT SCRAPED 550 original questions, written against the Certified Tester Foundation Level syllabus v4.0 and spread across its six chapters. These are not real exam questions and not dump site material. Memorising leaked items does not build the judgement this exam tests, and it puts your certification at risk. Every one of the 550 cites the syllabus section it came from, not a forum post. BUILT TO FEEL LIKE THE REAL THING The real exam is 40 multiple choice questions in 60 minutes, with 25 per cent extra time if you sit it in a language that is not your own. The mock here is the same sitting: 40 questions on a single 60 minute clock, drawn from each chapter in proportion to its syllabus weight, and drawn fresh so the third attempt is not the first one memorised. The clock pauses while you read an explanation and ends the sitting when it reaches zero. Options are reshuffled every time a question opens, so position carries no signal. THE PASS MARK IS PUBLISHED, SO THIS APP USES IT ISTQB states the bar outright: 26 of 40 points, 65 per cent. There is no scaled score and no adaptive model in between, so unlike most certifications this app can show you the real pass mark instead of a target of its own invention. Your practice percentage is still practice, but the line it is measured against is the official one. WEIGHTED THE WAY THE SYLLABUS IS Test Analysis and Design is 34 per cent of the exam and the largest chapter here, at 187 questions. Managing the Test Activities is 30 per cent and 165 questions. Then Fundamentals of Testing 88, Testing Throughout the Software Development Lifecycle 60, Static Testing 39, and Test Tools 11. EXPLANATIONS IN FOUR PARTS Why the correct answer is correct. Why each wrong option is wrong, individually rather than as a group. The exam trap the question was built around. The syllabus section it came from. All four are on all 550 questions. COUNTED BACK FROM YOUR EXAM DATE Set the day you sit and the home screen becomes a plan: days left, a target for today built from what is unseen plus what is due, and whether your rate closes the gap. Pace counts questions met for the first time, not raw answers. Under ten answers it shows no pace. When days are too few it points you at the heaviest chapters and one full mock instead of the whole bank. It plans coverage, not scores. Spaced repetition brings a question back a day after you first get it right, then after 3, 7, 14 and 30 days, stretched or tightened by how reliably you answer it, and dropped back when you miss. With an exam date set
