Store description excerpt
You always know exactly what your enemies did - and what it cost you. Isle War is a fast, three-power island-conquest war game built around one idea most strategy games get wrong: total legibility. Every enemy move animates one at a time, with a plain, attributed callout naming who did what. Every territory you lose is called out explicitly. And the turn log lets you review the whole last round. You are never left guessing why the map changed. Fight the CPU Teal and Crimson powers for total conquest of 18 territories across 5 islands. Reinforce, attack, and fortify across a hand-designed connectivity graph where the ferry and land links between islands are the strategy. Complete a whole island to earn a per-turn bonus, and watch your rivals try to break it. Sessions are short and sharp: a full war runs about 5–15 minutes. Watch your own battles resolve dice-tick by dice-tick and call them off (continue, stop, or fight to the end). Tap to fast-forward enemy turns, but never so fast that a move goes unseen. Legibility, everywhere: - Every enemy move animates and is attributed, no silent board changes - Every loss you take is explicitly called out - A reviewable turn log covers the last full round - Color and pattern encode each power - readable for colorblind players - Haptics and 8-bit sound fire on the beats that affect you, your captures, your losses, key events (with a SOUND toggle, default on) Fair, self-contained, respectful: - Seven difficulty levels — army handicaps and sharper CPU play as you climb, one honest brain (no cheating) - Backgrounded mid-game? Isle War resumes right where you left off - 100% offline - no accounts, no ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking - No data collected. Everything stays on your device. A crisp Neo-retro look. Chunky pixel type, hard edges, a warm CGA-era palette with no clutter and no fuss. One-handed, portrait, tap-to-play. Take the islands. See it all happen.
