Turn your camera cutout into a living island. Music, calls, notifications, charging and deliveries appear in a smooth pill around your front camera — glanceable when you are busy, and expandable when you want to act. Tap it and the island slides clear of the lens, then opens into real controls. WHAT IT SHOWS • Now playing — album art, a moving scrubber, and full previous / play / next controls • Incoming calls — answer and decline right on the island, without opening the dialer • Messages — the full text, with quick replies that never open the app • Deliveries, rides and navigation, with live progress • Charging status and battery level • A clock and battery readout when nothing else is happening BUILT AROUND YOUR CAMERA Most phones put the camera somewhere slightly different, so the island measures yours and shapes itself to fit. Tap "Fit to camera" to measure it again, or set width, height and position by hand with four sliders. Centred punch-holes, corner holes and wide notches all work. SWIPE, TAP, DONE • Tap a card to open the app exactly where the notification points — the conversation, the order • Swipe a card away to clear the notification for real. It leaves the shade too • Swipe the pill to look through everything that is live • Several activities stack as separate cards, so you can read them all at once MAKE IT YOURS Five themes — Obsidian, Midnight, Graphite, AMOLED and Light. Choose an accent colour, a pill outline, and glass or solid cards. Pick exactly which apps are allowed to reach the island, or let them all in. LIGHT ON BATTERY This is the part most island apps get wrong. There is no polling and no background scanning. The island wakes when something actually happens and sleeps the rest of the time — when nothing is going on it draws nothing at all, not even a frame. The clock updates from Android's own once-a-minute tick. PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) The app is free and ad-supported. Premium removes every ad and unlocks all themes and accent colours, as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in your own currency in the app. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled any time in the Play Store. Nothing is locked behind it that the island needs to work. PRIVACY Your notifications are read on your phone and never leave it. Neither does your music information. The app shows ads and reports anonymous crash and usage statistics, and those never include anything from your notifications or your messages. WHY IT NEEDS THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE Dynamic Island uses Android's accessibility service for one reason: it is the only way an app is allowed to draw on the camera cutout and stay tappable there. It does not read your screen, and it cannot see what you type or which apps you use. You can turn it off at any time in Android Settings.
