THE IRREGULAR VERBS PLATFORMER FOR ANDROID HAS ARRIVED! Irregular Verbs Platformer is a game aimed at English students who have difficulty memorizing irregular verbs in the English language. As there are no rules for identifying them, training while having fun is the best option. Old versions of this game were used in face-to-face classes in 2016 and 2017, with very good results. Now this game is publicly available for Android. HOW TO PLAY When agreeing to the game's Terms of Use and Privacy Policies and starting the first phase, simply click on the platform containing the irregular verb in English. Your character will jump onto the chosen platform. If the chosen verb is not irregular, your character falls, along with the platform and a message shows the regular conjugation of that verb. If the chosen verb is irregular, its conjugation is revealed and you can choose the next platform. You can jump sideways, diagonally and forwards. It is not possible to jump back. You can jump on already revealed platforms, colored orange. At the end of the phase, if you have revealed all eighteen verbs, you can move on to the next phase (you must have an internet connection to pass the phase). You can also repeat the level when you find all the verbs and you can restart the level at any time. If you reach the end of the level with irregular verbs left behind, you will have to repeat the level. There are no attempt limits or game overs in this game. FEATURES The game's home screen has a short video showing gameplay with the basic mechanics of the stages. You can control the sound volume on this screen and the other screens in the game will have their volumes automatically adjusted by it. As it is a game aimed at English-speaking students, the game interface is entirely in English. Only the texts of the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have a Portuguese/English option. Each stage has a total of eighteen irregular verbs and there are a total of nine stages in this version of the game. At the end of the ninth phase, you advance to the last screen, containing a list of the main irregular verbs in the English language When you tap on the English verb on this final screen, you have a basic Brazilian Portuguese translation of each one. The verb in English is green and its simple past conjugation is orange. On this final screen, you can return to the game's home screen and play the levels again. In this version of the game there is no progress saving system, so you start from the first level. This game does not have a login system, but it contains advertisements between levels. In this version, there are no advertisements when repeating the same phase or when starting the first phase. Returning to the home screen from the last screen also does not display ads.
