IONSTORM is a one-thumb horde-survival roguelite. Drag anywhere to fly. Your weapons fire themselves. Staying alive is your whole job. Every run is a build. Collect the emerald gems the horde drops, level up, and pick one of three: a new weapon, a passive, or a Catalyst that changes how your whole kit behaves — bolts that pierce another target, a nova that freezes what it touches, crits that arc to a second enemy. Reroll a bad draw. Banish a dead-end card so it never shows up again this run. Max a weapon while holding its paired passive and it evolves into something else entirely. The storm has a rhythm. Roughly every 70 seconds it telegraphs a Storm Surge — a swell of attackers with an elite escort — and you get a second and a half to find better ground. At 3:00 The Collapsar arrives. You do not have to kill it: hold out while it is on the field and it withdraws, leaving its relic cache behind. Kill it instead and you get a heavier payout and a stronger one back 2.5 minutes later. Relics are your panic buttons. Store up to three and spend them when a surge boxes you in: a Nova Bomb, an Aegis shield, a Magnet Surge, a Chain Storm. Between runs, the Reactor generates Cores while you are away, and the Forge turns Cores into permanent upgrades so the next Deploy starts stronger. Every pilot gets the same Daily Storm — one seed, one shared storm, ranked by survival time.
