Store description excerpt

Every tool you need to practice, in one app. And a record of every time you did. EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE Start a session and the timer runs. Everything else is one tap away without ever leaving it: - A tuner, with alternate tunings - A metronome with four click sounds and its own volume - A drone in any of twelve keys - Notes and voice memos, to record ideas as you practice - Scale, chord and theory Resources You never have to log anything. Playing is the logging. Every session lands in your journal with the time, your notes, and how it felt. Your week fills in at a glance. Your streak counts the days you showed up. Your year builds one square at a time, and your daily average tells you what a practice day actually looks like for you. Open any day to see what you played and what you thought of it. It is the answer to "am I actually getting anywhere", and it writes itself while you play. THE TOOLS, IN MORE DETAIL The tuner waits for the note to settle instead of twitching around it, and taps you when it lands, so you can watch the fretboard rather than the screen. Standard, drop D, DADGAD, open G, open D, and half or full step down. The metronome has tempo, time signature, tap tempo, four click sounds including a closed hi-hat, and its own volume control, so it sits under the guitar instead of over it. The drone holds a steady tone in any of twelve keys, for working on intonation or improvising against something. ALSO IN THERE Play a progression and Interval names the chords, works out the key, and writes the number system underneath, with a chord chart for every shape it heard. Scales drawn along the neck in any key. A shape for every chord the app knows. Drills that tell you what to do and why it works. Short theory written for people teaching themselves. And paths that move you forward a stage at a time, by playing rather than by the calendar, so missing a week costs you nothing. More features coming soon :) HOW IT WORKS No account. No sign-up. No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Interval makes no network requests at all, so what you record and what you write stay on your device. Back your journal up to a file whenever you like, and restore it on a new phone. Free, with everything included.
