Store description excerpt
Your apps are snitching. In ten minutes Inspectir shows you who they report to, and lets you cut any of them off with one tap. WHO’S SPYING ON YOU? Turn protection on and watch it happen live: a food app reporting to an ad network, a game phoning an attribution company, a shopping app telling Meta what you looked at. Inspectir is a live X-ray of your iPhone’s traffic. It names the company behind every connection, sorts companies into the ones tracking you, the apps you actually use, and the plumbing that keeps things working, and gives you a firewall switch for each of them. WHAT THE X-RAY SHOWS • Every connection, live. Who your phone talked to, how often, and when, including while it sat locked in your pocket overnight. • The company, not the domain. 5,000+ companies on record, each traced to its owner, so an innocent-looking hostname shows up as the ad network it belongs to. • What they do. Advertising, analytics, attribution, fingerprinting, data brokerage, or the delivery and sign-in services an app genuinely needs. • Exposures. Traffic sent in plain text that anyone on the same Wi-Fi could read, broken ciphers still on offer, key exchanges without the quantum-safe protection iOS itself now offers, site names sent in the open. WHAT THE FIREWALL DOES • Restrict a company. One switch blocks every name it owns, across every app on the phone. Meta is six names. Google is hundreds. You block the company, not a domain. • Encrypt your DNS. Choose Cloudflare, Quad9, AdGuard DNS, Cloudflare Family, Mullvad, or your own DNS-over-HTTPS server, so the network you are on cannot read which sites you ask for. Works together with protection. • Check any site before you trust it. Type an address and Inspectir opens it on your phone and reports which companies were told about your visit and whether everything was encrypted. No permission needed. • The night shift report. Optional notifications when apps kept talking while the phone was locked. WHY PEOPLE TRUST IT • Nothing of yours leaves your phone. Inspectir uses the VPN framework built into iOS to look at traffic on the device itself. There is no Inspectir server, no account, and no copy of your traffic anywhere. Apple’s privacy label: Data Not Collected. • One permission, explained first. iOS asks once to add the VPN configuration. We tell you what that dialog means before it appears. Say no, and the company catalogue and the site check still work. • Every claim checkable. The catalogue names its sources and their licences on the Data sources screen. Entries we verified ourselves are marked; entries from public tracker lists say so. • A Swiss company. Cyberr GmbH, Switzerland. No ads, no subscription, no upsells inside the app. A VPN HIDES YOU FROM THE WI-FI. NOT FROM YOUR APPS. A VPN encrypts the road and hides your IP address. It does not change who your apps report to: the tracker rides inside the app and gets your data through any tunnel. Inspectir names it and lets you cut it off. Different job,
