Photograph a bug, spider or insect and compare possible matches. InsectWise shows ranked candidates, model estimates and visible features so you can check a suggestion against your photo. WHY THIS MATCH Each result lists the specific features the identification rests on — body shape, leg count, wing pattern, markings. You can compare those visible features with your photo before relying on the suggestion. HONEST CONFIDENCE Confidence values are model estimates, not measured accuracy rates or guarantees. Compare the visible evidence and alternatives. When the service requests a better photo, or identification fails, the free identification is refunded. RANKED CANDIDATES, NOT JUST THE FIRST You see every candidate returned for the identification, ranked with its model estimate, plus a reusable reference photo where verified licensing or public-domain evidence is available. Close calls stay visible instead of being hidden behind a single confident-looking answer. BITE COMPARISON Photograph a bite mark and compare visible patterns with possible insect causes. A bite mark alone cannot identify a species, and this is not a medical diagnosis. InsectWise gives no first-aid or treatment guidance. YOUR FIELD GUIDE Choose Save to field guide to keep your photo, the primary match and its visible reasons, and candidate names and scores. Saved records are grouped by order and family and can be read offline. New identification requires an internet connection. Reference photos and every field of the original response are not part of the saved record. FREE Your first three identifications are free. No account, no card, no trial that starts charging you. SUBSCRIPTION After the free allowance, choose a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Every price and renewal period is shown in full before you are asked to buy anything — there is no pre-selected plan and nothing auto-starts. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings at any time.
