IMGW Meteo is a modern weather app based on official data from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management – National Research Institute (IMGW-PIB). Check the current weather, a detailed weather forecast for Poland, precipitation radar, storm radar, and meteorological and hydrological warnings. With weather maps and data from IMGW stations, you can track the weather in real time, analyze precipitation, storms, wind, and temperature changes. CURRENT WEATHER AND FORECAST • Current temperature, wind chill, humidity, pressure, wind, and visibility • Hourly 5-day forecast with temperature graph • Daily forecast for 7 days (HYBRID model) and 16 days (GFS model) • Sunrise and sunset • Cloud cover, cloud type, cloud base, and cloud profile • Fog Risk Index INTERACTIVE WEATHER MAP • CMAX and SRI precipitation radar, monitor rain and snowfall in real time • Storm radar and lightning map • Satellite imagery, clouds, microphysics, water vapor (WV) • Meteorological and hydrological warnings on the map • Temperature and wind in cities • Offline mode WARNINGS AND ALERTS • IMWM meteorological warnings • Hydrological warnings for high water levels • KOMET meteorological reports • Filtering Warnings by province and threat level • Push notifications for storms and hazardous weather STORM TRACKING • Storm alerts when a storm approaches your location • Configurable detection radius, 50–200 km • Precipitation detection from radar, "Raining nearby" information • Visualization of storm zones on the weather map AURORA BORNEAL LIGHTS • Aurora visibility indicator in Poland • Kp index forecast and OVATION map • Observation direction and best time to observe the aurora • Analysis of conditions: nighttime, cloud cover, geomagnetic activity • Notification when conditions are favorable for observing the aurora POLAND WEATHER RANKING • Comparison of 76 SYNOP weather stations • Categories: highest temperature, lowest temperature, strongest wind, wind gusts, precipitation • Top 10 station ranking in each category INTELLIGENT TIPS • Contextual weather advice, such as "Take an umbrella" or "Good day for a walk." • Morning report at 7:00 AM and evening report at 6:00 PM with the most important weather information. ADDITIONAL FEATURES • Selectable units: °C, °F, km/h, m/s • GPS location or manual city selection • Hidden weather facts; enter "RCB" or "1997" in the search bar. DATA SOURCE Weather data comes directly from IMWM-PIB, the official source of meteorological information in Poland. HYBRID models for Poland and GFS The app is free and ad-free.
