In the Municipality of Nafpaktia, a new modern Digital Center was created to display the historical Naval Battle of Nafpaktos, which took place in 1571. The Digital Center aims to present this important historical event, while emphasizing the cultural promotion of the region and education, through a pioneering action using new digital technology. The Digital Center is located on the site of the former "XENIA" hotel. With the use of multimedia and modern technologies, the Digital Center of the Municipality of Nafpaktia enables the visitor to be informed in new innovative ways. Thanks to the ability to provide combined information with 3D videos, 2D videos and digital interactive applications, the visitor gains a holistic understanding of history and enriches their visit experience. The aim is for the visitor to participate with all his senses, i.e. to have an experiential approach and to encourage self-activity, experimentation and exploration so that his visit combines education with entertainment. The Center also has an educational role by providing scientifically documented, understandable information that will be transmitted in the best possible way. It is aimed at a wide audience, covering all ages, i.e. from students of all levels to researchers, students and post-graduate students of higher and higher education institutions. This application provides information and digital applications for the Digital Center for viewing the historical Battle of Nafpaktos.
