You choose her voice and her manner, and you can teach her anything you want her to know. She says plainly that she is an AI, and you can see and delete anything she has learned. THEIR PHOTOGRAPHS, AND THE STORIES BEHIND THEM Send photos from your phone and record the story in your own voice. Idyll remembers who is in them, so when your mother mentions a grandchild, that face comes up on the screen — and Idyll tells her the story your family recorded. A full-screen slideshow plays through the family's latest whenever she likes. SOMETHING TO ENJOY, EVERY DAY — ALL CHOSEN BY YOU Nine gentle games with no timers, no scores and no way to lose, and a small garden that grows for every day she plays. Audiobooks and music you add from your phone, from files you already own — her books, her albums, in her own library. Idyll remembers where she stopped, so she always picks up from there. That is the point: Idyll becomes hers because you make it hers. FAMILY, ONE TAP AWAY Faces, not phone numbers — she taps a face to call. Calls ring the iPad out loud even when the screen is off, and for a parent who cannot always reach the screen in time you can let chosen people connect without a tap. It rings your family like a real call and walks down the list you set until somebody answers — and whoever answers stands everyone else down. She is not a doctor, a nurse or an emergency service, she gives no medical advice, and she cannot dial 911 — in an emergency, call 911.
