With the amendment of the Information and Communications Construction Business Act, maintenance and performance inspections of information and communications facilities in buildings exceeding a certain size have become mandatory. Maintenance and management inspections must be performed at least once every six months, and performance inspections at least once a year. Performance inspection records must be preserved for five years, and administrative fines may be imposed for non-compliance. In particular, starting July 2026, the scope of mandatory inspections will be expanded to include buildings with a gross floor area of 10,000 square meters or more, requiring more building owners and facility managers to prepare for information and communications facility inspections. ICT Inspection is a facility inspection app designed to handle these statutory inspection tasks immediately on-site. Instead of paper checklists and manual records, users can record on-site inspections and attach photos via their mobile phones; the inspection data is then linked to the web, allowing for seamless creation of the Inspection Report (DOCX).
