Store description excerpt

A disposable camera that refuses to show you anything until Saturday. THE ROLL Shoot all week. Every frame seals the second you take it — you can't see it, can't edit it, can't delete-and-retake it. Saturday at 6:40pm the whole week develops at once, graded, in one sitting. The waiting is the feature. It's the difference between taking a photo and getting one back. Five looks, hand-built rather than dropped on afterwards, so you're shooting through the grade instead of picking a filter later. THE CLASS ROLL Then the part that makes it worth having: everyone in your class develops in the same minute. All those frames land together on one wall. • Join a class with a code, or start one and hand the code out • Every Saturday becomes a volume — week 1, week 2, stacked in order • It runs to graduation. Forty-odd Saturdays, and at the end the class has a yearbook nobody had to make • KEEP a frame to pull it into your own archive. Leave a note under someone's • No feed to refresh, no algorithm, no posting all week. One moment, everybody in it together WHAT IT ISN'T No subscription. Nothing to buy. No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no sign-up — not even an email address. Frames you shoot stay on your phone unless you pick them, one at a time, to put on a class wall. THE ARCHIVE The rest of the app is the work: SATURDAYS the series, LOST FILES, the films, and the photography — shot and cut by Ian Royes.
