hvman is an on-device app that detects whether English prose resembles human or AI writing. Its highly accurate model delivers an overall result plus passage-level details and, when the evidence is strong enough, a restrained view of likely model or family resemblance. Paste text, use a clipboard preview, or send text from another app, then review a conservative result: Human, Unclear, AI, or More words needed. Some passages may show Mixed when different sections carry different signals. Look beyond one label with a threshold view, section consistency bars, and a restrained model or family resemblance view when its evidence clears the app’s gates. Tap a section or passage to jump through the document, keep your place in view, and change the reading font and size. Save analyses to local History and reopen them later. In Settings, choose Signal, Dusk, or Ink verdict colors, dark, light, or system appearance, and your preferred app icon. Fewer than 80 normalized words abstains and asks for more context. hvman reports resemblance signals for review, not definitive judgments about authorship or model identity. Use context and human judgment.
