Rule-Based Diagnostic Engine • Evaluates 14 mechanical and thermodynamic field symptoms (operating pressures, temperatures, line temperatures, and airflow indicators). • Identifies primary fault domains: refrigerant undercharge, overcharge, liquid line restrictions, metering device malfunctions, evaporator or condenser airflow restrictions, non-condensables, and compressor inefficiency. • Provides confidence metrics, diagnostic explanations, and recommended field inspection steps. 4. Offline Error Code Reference • Built-in database of manufacturer fault codes across 15 global HVAC equipment brands. • Provides probable cause descriptions and sequential troubleshooting steps directly on-site without requiring internet connectivity. 5.
