Hone In: Trading Journal is a personal trade journal for active swing / positional traders. It lets users log trades in under 30-60 seconds, automatically calculating position risk, account risk %, and planned/realized R-multiples. Users can tag setups (e.g. breakout, EMA bounce) and psychological state (e.g. disciplined, FOMO), attach chart screenshots, and review performance analytics like win rate by strategy. It solves the problem of traders keeping messy, inconsistent notes that make it hard to spot patterns in their own behavior. Most trading journals tell you what you made. Hone In tells you why. Built for discretionary swing and positional traders holding for days to weeks — the kind who already keep a spreadsheet and want the analysis done for them, not another price-alert app. RISK BEFORE RESULT Every trade is normalised to R, where 1R is what you actually risked (entry to stop, times size). A $100 trade and a $50,000 trade become directly comparable, and you see live total open risk across all positions — because five individually sensible trades can add up to one bad morning. EXIT QUALITY Set a target when you enter. Hone In reports what percentage of that planned move each winning trade actually captured. Most journals store this data and never report it. PLAN ADHERENCE One tap at exit records whether the trade went to plan. Results are then split: trades that followed your rules vs. trades that didn't — because a profitable trade taken against your own plan is a worse signal than a small loss taken correctly. BEHAVIOURAL BREAKDOWNS Performance by position size relative to your own median risk, by holding period, by strategy, and by the market conditions you recorded.
