HomiDrive turns a computer you already own into a private home cloud — no NAS, no server to configure, and no monthly storage bill. Pick a folder on your Windows PC and it becomes your private drive. Pair your phone, browse and manage your files, and send files directly between your own devices over Wi-Fi. When you're away from home, Remote access lets you reach the same drive securely. No server in the middle holds your data, and we never see or store what's in it. • Normal files, normal folders — no proprietary format, no lock-in. Your files stay ordinary files you can open, move, or back up like always. • Zero setup — install, sign in, pick a folder. No NAS to buy, no ports to open. • Quick Transfer — send files, folders, or clipboard text straight between your nearby devices over Wi-Fi at full LAN speed. Resumable and integrity-checked. • Your private Drive — browse, upload, and download your storage from your phone. • Remote access (optional) — reach your own drive from anywhere over an encrypted, owner-only connection. No port forwarding, no public exposure. The only paid feature; everything local is free. A private alternative to cloud storage — use the storage you already own instead of renting someone else's. ANDROID VPN SERVICE HomiDrive uses Android’s VpnService only for the optional Remote access feature. It creates an encrypted, app-only tunnel between this phone and your HomiDrive Windows PC, allowing the app to reach your private drive away from home without opening router ports or publicly exposing the PC. Only HomiDrive’s own traffic uses the tunnel; traffic from other apps is not captured, inspected, redirected, or used for advertising.
