It is our great privilege and proud to say that there is only one parish in the Archdiocese of Nagar. Once, this area was particularly meant for the residents of Hindus, but now it is called unity in diversity. Birth In 1974, a very young and energetic pastor Rev. Fr. A.J. Joseph who came all the way from Nungambakkam to this commercial hub every Sunday without fail to fulfil the spiritual need of the Catholics by saying Holy Mass in Holy Angels School midst of all the hurdles. Since then, the Catholics of this commercial hub were rising. By seeing the growth of the Catholics Archbishop Most Rev. Dr. P. Arulappa erected it as an individual perish of Archdiocese of Madras-Mylapore.
