Everyone is dealt 13 cards. You must follow the led suit if you can; if you can’t, you may play any card — including a trump. The highest trump wins the trick, or the highest card of the led suit if no trump was played. Whoever wins a trick leads the next one. First side to win 7 of the 13 tricks wins the hand. Win the hand and your team scores a point (or 2–3 points for a sweep). The first side to reach 7 points wins the match. If the Hakem’s team loses the hand, the Hakem passes to the next player.
