Hisab Dost is an easy bookkeeping companion app for small Indian businesses such as shopkeepers, vendors, home businesses, and small service providers. Please note: Hisab Dost is a companion app. Manual ledger entries are made by sending messages to the linked WhatsApp or Telegram messaging assistant, not inside the app itself. The app is used to set up the service, view My Hisab, manage settings, check plan status, and optionally capture supported UPI payment notifications. Users can record income, expenses, and credit entries in natural language and view useful reports without learning traditional accounting software. Key features: - Daily income and expense entries, made through the WhatsApp or Telegram assistant - View income and expense totals in the app - Credit (given and received) tracking with total summary - Today, yesterday, weekly and monthly summaries in My Hisab - Name-wise credit details showing who owes what (Paid Plan) - Weekly and monthly detailed reports via the messaging assistant (Paid Plan) - PDF report generation via the messaging assistant (Paid Plan) - Optional UPI/payment notification-based entry capture (3-day free trial, then Paid Plan) - App Lock with PIN and biometric support - Support for 11 languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Odia Detailed reports (weekly, monthly, and PDF) are requested from and delivered through the linked WhatsApp or Telegram messaging assistant, not generated inside the app. Hisab Dost is designed for users who want a fast and natural way to manage their daily ledger. The app offers a Free Limited Plan and a Paid Plan. Some features require a paid subscription. Paid features are purchased using Google Play Billing inside the Android app. For optional UPI/payment notification-based entry capture, Hisab Dost requests Notification Access only after user consent. This feature is used to identify supported payment confirmation notifications and create ledger entries for bookkeeping. Users can skip Notification Access and continue using Hisab Dost by sending manual ledger entries through WhatsApp or Telegram. WhatsApp and Telegram are third-party messaging platforms.
