Store description excerpt
A locked album for photos and videos you would rather nobody saw — opened with a passcode of its own or Face ID. It can pose as a calculator, and everything you keep can be exported to your computer in one go. Photos and videos are stored in this app's own space on the device. Nothing goes to the cloud. Tansu does not add its own encryption, so export the ones that matter to the Photos app or to a computer from time to time. ■ Three layers of protection ・Stored in the app's own space, where other apps cannot look ・Unreadable while your iPhone is locked ・Opened with a passcode of its own, separate from your device passcode (Face ID works too) ■ Never locked in. Everything to your computer Settings → "Export everything to computer" writes what you keep into the shared folder. Connect a cable, copy it across, and it stays with you even if the app is deleted. If it stops partway, "Resume export" picks up where it left off. Note: photos and videos are exported. Tags and settings are not included. ■ Big videos play at once Files are not encrypted-and-hidden, so there is no waiting to decrypt — even for multi-gigabyte videos. Pinch to zoom photos and videos up to 12×. ■ Tens of gigabytes, straight from your computer Connect a cable and drop whole folders in. Nested folders are searched too. Drop in a Google Takeout folder and the capture dates come along with it. No more sharing one photo at a time. ■ Tag now, find later No album hierarchy. Attach as many labels as you like to a single photo and filter afterwards. Show only what is untagged to find whatever you have not sorted yet. ■ Looks like a calculator when you need it to Turn it on in Settings and opening the app shows a working calculator - nothing else. Type your passcode and press "=" to reach your photos, even right after a calculation. Note: if you ever forget how to get in, press and hold the large number above the keys. The usual passcode screen appears, including "Forgot your passcode?". ■ Clean up anything added twice File contents are compared all the way through, so only true duplicates are listed. Files that merely look alike are kept. ■ Choose your Home Screen icon Pick from the icons built into the app. ---------- You can keep up to 500 items for free, and watching a video ad adds more. Beyond that, a single one-time purchase removes the limit. There is no subscription. Reaching the limit never deletes anything; it only stops new imports. A banner ad appears below the grid. Removing the limit hides it as well. Note: device identifiers and usage data are shared with our advertising partner to serve ads. Your photos, videos, file names and tags are never shared. Note: the app never sends your photos anywhere. Your iPhone's own backup (iCloud and the like) does include them, and deleting the app deletes them too — so export anything that matters to the Photos app or copy it to a computer.
