Numbered heptagons drift into an open playfield. Draw a path across them and they follow it, gathering into a chain that pulls itself together. Land on exactly 7 and the shapes clear and score. Miss, and you are left holding something larger and harder to place. Go above 7, or below −7, and the run ends. That is the whole rule for the first minute. Then the playfield starts adding to it: • Negative numbers. A −3 is the same color as a 3, only dark, and it subtracts. A board that looks lost can often be recovered. • Operators. A ×2 or ×3 multiplies whatever it touches, a ÷ splits a shape into halves, and a ± turns a number inside out. • Combos. Clear sevens inside the same short window and the bonus climbs. • A joker, which becomes the value you needed. Runs last about one to ten minutes. Shapes arrive faster the longer you survive, and the arithmetic never gets harder than single digits — what gets hard is reading a crowded board quickly enough to act on it. Two Game Center leaderboards — best score and longest run — fifteen achievements, and friend challenges, for when your own best score stops being the interesting number. Portrait, one hand, and it pauses the moment you put it down. A five-step tutorial on first launch, and a Settings screen that will replay it. Accessibility: a colorblind assist mode that gives every value its own pattern as well as its own color, a reduced motion setting that follows the system or overrides it, separate switches for sound, music, and haptics, and Dynamic Type in the menus. No advertising. No in-app purchases. No currency, no energy timers, no account to create. Heptad collects nothing about you; the only network feature is Game Center, which is Apple's.
