The service is designed to support independent living and make it easier for users and their trusted contacts to communicate, organize daily activities and maintain important personal information in one place. Features include: - Contact management and video communication. - Reminders for medications, appointments, social activities and other everyday tasks. - Personal health record features for storing information such as medical history, medications, allergies and laboratory results. - Optional connection with compatible third-party devices and sensors, allowing users to add measurements such as blood pressure, blood glucose or blood oxygen saturation to their personal health record. - Review of previously recorded measurements and personal health information over time. Connection to external devices is optional. HeartAround's general communication, reminder and personal record features can be used without connecting an external device. When users choose to connect a compatible third-party device, measurements are produced by that external device and can be transferred to HeartAround for storage and review as part of the user's personal health record. HeartAround does not independently measure vital signs using the smartphone.
