Store description excerpt

Pay once. No subscription, no account, no ads — and your data never leaves your iPhone. Headache Diary is a migraine and headache diary designed around the logic of a neurology appointment: it tracks the numbers your doctor actually asks for, and it is gentle enough to use mid-attack, in a dark room, with one eye shut. LOG AN ATTACK IN SECONDS A big, calm 0–10 pain scale. Tap where it hurts, what it feels like, your symptoms and aura. Best-guess triggers — sleep, stress, food, weather, hormones — organised so you are not scrolling forever with a headache. A DIARY THAT COUNTS LIKE A CLINICIAN Doctors count headache days, not attacks — an attack that runs past midnight counts twice. Headache Diary scores it that way automatically, and shows your month on a colour-coded calendar you can read at a glance. MEDICATION TRACKING WITH A SAFETY NET Log what you took and whether it helped. The app quietly counts your acute-treatment days by drug class — 10 days a month for triptans and combination painkillers, 15 for plain NSAIDs and paracetamol — and lets you know before medication-overuse headache becomes a risk. INSIGHTS, NOT GUESSES Headache days per month, your most frequent triggers as a share of attacks, when attacks start, your usual symptoms, and a "what actually helps" view built from the relief you record after each dose. Patterns, not diagnoses. A REPORT YOUR NEUROLOGIST WILL THANK YOU FOR One tap builds a clean, printable PDF: a one-page summary followed by your full attack log. Share it, print it, or export the raw data as CSV. Your personal notes stay out of it unless you say otherwise. CITED SOURCES The clinical figures in the app follow published guidance from the International Headache Society (ICHD-3), NICE, the NHS and the American Headache Society — every claim is linked to its source inside the app. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE Everything is stored on your iPhone. No server, no account, no analytics, no network requests. Nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected. Designed for photophobia: warm, low-glare colours in light mode, a deep, dim dark mode, and nothing that flashes. Headache Diary is a diary, not a doctor. It does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Seek urgent care for a sudden severe headache, a headache with fever and stiff neck, weakness, confusion, or one following a head injury.
