Store description excerpt

Pull back, let go, and enjoy a little tabletop fun. Hajiki Shogi is a traditional Japanese game with records dating back to 1830. This Edo-period pastime brings the simple pleasure of flicking wooden pieces to your screen in 3D. Aim your piece and try to knock your opponent's pieces off the board. You don't need to know how to play shogi. A little practice with angles and power is all you need to get started. Pull, Release, Repeat Choose one of your pieces, drag back from the direction you want it to go, and lift your finger. Pull farther for a stronger shot. Give a piece a gentle nudge over the edge, or find an angle that sends several pieces off together. Physics simulation brings every bump, slide, and tumble to life. When a shot lands just right, it's tempting to try one more. Small Pawns, Clever Moves Your pieces are nine pawns. The computer plays with a mix of larger, heavier shogi pieces, including the king. Take turns flicking one piece at a time. Clear all your opponent's pieces to win, but watch your own pawns: they can fall off too. Which pawn should you use? Where should you aim? How much power is enough? Simple controls leave plenty of room for a thoughtful shot. 100 Levels to Explore Discover new formations and a more skillful opponent as you progress through 100 levels across 10 chapters. Complete each level's goals to collect stars. Retry quickly, adjust your aim, and see what a different approach can do. Daily Dojo Try a fresh set of boards every day. Clear each wave to move on to the next, and see how far you can get before your pawns run out. Everyone gets the same boards on the same day. Aim for a personal best or compare your progress on the daily leaderboard. Keep Your Favorite Moments Replay the shot that decided the match, or watch the whole game again. Share a favorite moment as a card image or export a vertical video. Send a challenge to a friend and compare results on the same board. Leaderboards track your highest cleared level, collected stars, most pieces knocked off in one shot, and Daily Dojo progress. A Little Break, A Little Play Settle into a sunlit Japanese room with tatami mats, a wooden board, and the satisfying click of wooden pieces. Play solo with one-finger controls in portrait mode. Matches can be played offline, so there's always room for a quick round. Videos and Streaming Streaming, Let's Plays, and video uploads are welcome, including monetized content.
