Every heat styling user knows the frustration: a blowout that lasted all day yesterday falls flat in two hours today. The reason? The humidity and dew point changed. HOW IT WORKS 1. Set up your hair profile: thickness (fine, medium, coarse), porosity (low, medium, high), and condition (virgin, color-treated, or bleached). 2. HairCast checks the current humidity, dew point, and temperature at your location. 3. You get a personalized temperature recommendation, Style Score (GO / CAUTION / SKIP), and hold time estimate. It takes 20 seconds to set up. No account required. STYLE SCORE A single daily score (0–100) tells you whether conditions are favorable for heat styling. Green means go. Yellow means adjust expectations. Red means consider skipping. TEMPERATURE GUIDE Your recommended flat iron, curling iron, or blow dryer setting based on today's weather and your hair profile. Fine bleached hair in high humidity gets a very different number than coarse virgin hair on a dry day.
